ABOUT ME
ABOUT ME
Anna Riley-Shepard is a Vermont-born interdisciplinary maker, performer, writer, neuroscientist, facilitator, and social & environmental strategist based in Amsterdam.
She holds degrees in cognitive neuroscience & dance from Harvard University, a certificate in sustainable development from Oxford, and completed professional dance training at Steps On Broadway (NYC) & Compagnia Zappalà Danza (IT).
As an artist, she performs with Ogmia Dance Company & Tanzhaus Basel/Cie Joachim Schloemer (among others), co-directs the queer ecology arts group Otherwise Collective, and lectures in neuroaesthetics at Conservatorium van Amsterdam.
As a consultant & facilitator, she uses her understanding of the mind to change minds — moving us towards better relationships with ourselves, each other, and the planet. She works with clients to advance intersectional sustainability topics — such as DEI, employee wellbeing, environmental justice & regenerative practices — across public and private sectors.
